Original Poster, the advice provided to you was right on. Throw the factory magazines away. Seriously. They aren't worth the ammo you'll waste with misfeeds and they certainly aren't worth trusting your life to. Wilson Model 47D magazines and Chip McCormick mags are highly regarded, A-list magazines that will almost certainly solve your issues.
