How then does this play into an SD situation? I spray painted my old Delta Elite airsoft pistol flat black and it looks pretty darn real from a few feet away.

Are people now responsible for determining if a gun is real or not before they a) decide to comply or b) decide to defend themselves? How many tragic shootings have there been because the police responders thought that the guns were real?

Do they think that this will reduce the number of armed robberies by encouraging robbers to use toys to get a lighter sentence?
