Nobody wants em, can't hardly give them away. They're always jamming & parts breaking. I'll give you $150 for it just cause I'm a nice guy. 
Seriously, From what I know - and that is questionable sometimes, they were only made for a few years back in the 80s (MSRP in 1984 was $409 for 24" barrel & $349 for the carbine). For reasons unknown to me, there werent too many made. Their rarity increases the price of them. Last one I saw that sold on GB went for $800 or $900 IIRC. I'd love to have one, maybe someday I'll find one cheap  like for $150
