POA for charging (or stationary) dogs and bears?

Charging Bears--
Ive read to aim at the nose, center chest and shoulder (shoulder is with a long gun I assume).

Charging Dogs--
I've read to aim between the eyes, chest and a quartering shot into a shoulder (from Basic Gunfighing 101 -- after luring them to the off hand side).

After a family reunion last weekend we shot the charging Pitbull Drill from Basic Gunfighting 101 with 2 liter soda bottles, Gal milk jugs and ballons. Later we did some where the target was at about 15-20 ft crossing fast at 90 deg.

I've been working on pointshooting (Quick Kill) for several months inaddition to FSP. QK was quicker and better than FSP on the crossing targets and just a little better and quicker on charging targets. YMMV
