I have a 10x Super Sniper. I am happy with it. For the money I think you would hard pressed to do better.
I also own 2 Bushnell Elite 3200's. They are both mounted on .22 rifles and are nice scopes.
I DO NOT own a BSA scope but I have not heard good things about them.
For a .308, get the SS, you will not regret your purchase.
