Anyone tried the Lapua Lock Base bullets?

I have a chance to buy some 170gr Lapua Lock Base Bullets in .308 from someone for less than the 175gr Sierra MK I've been using.

The Ballistic Coefficient is advertised as .525 vs the .496 for a 175 SMK

He claims .308 shooters are getting really good results with these bullets and you can use data from the 168 SMK which leads to a faster round than the 175 SMK with better BC.

I would be loading for my AR10 rifle.

Any input would be appreciated.
