I've been pheasant hunting in South Dakota since I was 14, back in the early 60's. When I started pheasant hunting everyone was using Winchester, Remington, Ithica, and so on. Over the years there have been some changes, Ithica's are getting scarce, but the biggest change just happend with in the last few years, - "Benelli's". Half of the people I hunt with in South Dakota are now using Benelli's. Bars are having drawings for Benelli's, The Casino on the Crow Creek Reservation is having a drawing - for a Benelli and a lot of the out of state hunters are bringing Benelli's.

What's the deal here.. Are they that good? Is the price right or something? I've never shot one.
