Anything but a Taurus,,,
I'm not Taurus bashing so much as I'm saying,,,
A first time gun buyer should not take the risk with their spotty factory quality control.
I voted for the S&W 686 because I like them better than the Ruger,,,
But the Ruger is just as good a gun as the S&W 686.
Too many Taurii are bad out of the box,,,
Too much risk for a first-timer.
After the newbie has gained some revolver experience,,,
Then he (or she) can evaluate a Taurus before laying out their cash.
