A little more testing with #4 LE Buck (27 pellet) from Federal this time.
This was all fired from my 20" Vang-barrel'd (no ports) 870. The targets were all 14" x 14" 100 yard jobs that were set at the listed distances below. I did not "pattern" this load at 72 feet and only counted holes on target. It is quite possible that many of the pellets were just outside of the 14" square.
I finally got some USPSA/IPSC practice targets that I will use in future tests. These should be much nicer as they have a nice 18" "shoulder" width with A, B, C & D zones that will photo nicely. I should be able to do some "head" shots with slugs as well.

Hits/27 @ 25 feet and size of pattern
1. 27/27 - 5.5" group
2. 27/27 - 7.75" group
