Same happened to me. In my experience adding more powder and equal volume of shot still gave me a hole through my pattern. Bump up the powder to 75 gr and use a bit more shot than a square load. add a bit more shot until you get more shot in the kill zone. It's going to take some experimentation. What wad are you using over the shot? What does your pattern look like with manufactured ammo?
