Regrettably, the imitaion M-1 Carbine by Auto Ordnance. Treated gently, never dropped etc, but after approx. 200 rds., the bolt felt a bit stiff and trying to loosen it, it was suddenly jammed rock solid.
Being brand-new (in October '07), it received a free factory repair, but I was so turned off that this had happened to a new gun, I sold it at a serious loss. That was my very First gun purchase, and age 52.
The second semi-auto was a '90 vintage Mini 14. That well-used Mini was more reliable than my Yugo Mauser and six Enfield bolt-action guns.
Only sold the Mini because of lousy factory sights, and having discovered Enfield "Jungle Carbines"
