I hate to sound like a gun snob, but I carried a Taurus 85 just long enough to afford a S&W...
After tearing into both Taurus and S&W revolvers, its not even close. Open up the side-plates and the difference in quality is painfully obvious. My Taurus performed okay, but I was hesitant to shoot it as much as my S&W or Ruger small frame revolvers...
