Personally (and I may be a minority) I always like a 1-4 style scope for a rifle like an Ar or the Tavor. Especially one with some kind of reticle that can do double duty for quick popping at your targets or a lil more precise if you need be.
I just put a Leupold 1-4 hog scope on my AR and LOVE IT.
But I also have this weird thing about my optic running on batteries... I know that especially something like an aimpoint its really a non issue just a pet peeve of mine.
