Heck, when I walked into the Scarboro, Maine Cabela's to buy my 2012 Maine Non-resident Big Game Hunting License last week ($116), the greeter was offering $25 off anything bought that day, if I signed up for a new Cabela's Visa.
Hmmmmmmm - So, I said: "Is the $25-off good for a hunting license purchase ?"
Answer: "ANYTHING you buy & put on the Visa card - we load an immediate $25 payment.credit into every new card ASAP it's issued."
I said: "Sign me up !"
15 mins later, I had my $116 license for $91, and paid off the $91 balance - and will most likely cancel the Visa card next month, so I can do it again next year.
