Nice looking Garand!

I have to bump mine into battery every now and then.

Take a look at Tom's 1/3 Mix*, I have used it on my Garand and an SKS my Dad brought back from Viet Nam:

*use it in a well ventilated area

If you want to shoot commercially available ammo, take a look at the ported gas plug from GarandGear. It's not legal for matches though...
