I inherited an older Savage 340 (bolt action 30-30). I want to remove the stock to refinish it. I do not see any obvious screws which will release the stock. The only screws I see look like they hold the trigger assembly or action in the stock.

Does anybody have experience disassembling this rifle? Is it easy to do?

Any help will be appreciated.
