I agree in the photos. For some reason the red looks terrible in the pics - but when you are face to face with it, it is much much more subdued.

I would 100% agree with you if this installation was on a forged upper. However look closely at the Spikes Tactical upper - the side has been milled with an extended pocket specifically for the B.A.D. lever. This prevents the lever from stalling the weapon and prevents accidental engagement which is all too common on forged uppers.

Not sure I'm tracking here - I am using the largest palm swell on the MAID...also, this has the finger rest or whatever that is called which the MOE doesn't...or at least I don't think it does.
