I put one on my 870. Took a shot, replaced pad, took another shot. While the Limbsaver helped a little, I really had to pay a lot of attention to notice. Had I not done it all within a few minutes, I probably would not have noticed any difference. 70% reduction in felt recoil is hogwash in my experience. I put it all on video to get my immediate reaction permanently documented.. I wouldn’t call it a waste of money, but definitely not up to all the claims. If you want a reduction in felt recoil, shoot lighter loads.
