Yessir, I concur. I was talking with my hunting buddy yesterday and we've got a spot on the lease that's just dying for a stand. It's in deep woods overlooking a creek with an acorn flat and the farthest shot would be about 75 yards. I think I'm going to slip in there in the next couple of weeks and find a spot to erect a stand. It would be just perfect for a .30-30.
Now, my only decision is whether to use cast bullets or jacketed. I think that if a grandson is shooting we'll let him use jacketed bullets. When I slip in there in a late afternoon I'll use cast bullets.
