I have and use, a Hammerli 280 (.32 S&W Long), and have found Alliant Powder's Bullseye to be the best powder for my pistol in target competition.

Another powder choice would be Winchester 231 (closest in weight).

For W231 : Start @ 1.5 gns - and go up from there in 1/10 gn increments, until you reach the best load for accuracy and function in your target pistol. (still 2.0 gn W231 MAX)

Federal Primers are the most sensitive, and provide extremely reliable ignition in my (or any) target pistols, and revolvers.

Another choice could be Winchester Small Pistol Primers (Gold -improved sensitivity to try and match Federal Primers).

Don't use CCI Primers (too hard).

Hope this helps.
