That's definitely debatable. In my opinion, AR's feel like plastic and AK's feel like they're made of recycled soda cans. SKS's have the feel of a real steel battle rifle. Like a mini m1 garand if you will.
Honestly tho... the SKS doesn't save you much weight over real m1 Grande
