I own one but I have only had the chance to take to the range once I'm pretty impressed with it. It's very thin and compact and for such a small gun the recoil is not bad. I had a Kahr PM45 and like the XDS alot more plus they have extended mags for the XDS that fit/look nice. If your a 45 guy and want to carry a 45 for CW you can't beat the xds. Kinda reminds me of a walther PPS.
