I was hoping to get a (close to) year of manufacture and possible value of this gun.

It is a 20 gauge side by side shotgun with the following marks.

J. Stevens Arms Company, Chicopee Falls MA
5100 Selected Forged Steel Proof Tested 20 Gauge

It has double triggers with a tang safety.

It also has a heart on the bottom of the receiver if that helps.
