This is a silly idea. I saw an article on a custom-built rifle based on a S&W revolver 20 years ago. You better hope the cylinder gap is tight or else you'll have hot gases & particles burning your wrist.
This is a gimmick - there are lever action rifles that handle this MUCH better.
