Have you considered a Bore Snake for cleaning? Just lock the bolt back and pull it through. You don't need to clean the parts under the cover everytime you shoot. Those rifles are meant for combat and unless you crawl around in mud or drop it in a sandpile, a little lube will last a long time on the moving parts.
