Towards the end of the article, it does get a little on the paranoid side with "what if" scenarios that may never occur. Carry 2 guns, carry 3 guns? Why not carry 60 round of ammo just in case? Why not have an assault rifle in the trunk just be on the safe side?
If I were an officer or someone where I felt harm may come to, then I would probably carry 2 guns and have some others hidden. However, the average citizen just needs 1. Arm yourself with a reliable weapon and learn how to use it. Use it as often as you can and make sure you know how.
