Well, be careful, I hear from gun show dealers that making or possessing AP .308 is illegal, ATF has said something about pistol bullets having metal core and there are pistols out there that have been made to chamber .308 so it is one of the ATF banned calibers for that type of ammo. Call them and ask because I do not know all of the details about that, but it is ok to load them in 30-06.
