I haven't heard my people with that had luck with optics and AKs, I heard of they would rattle off 0.
I like the front sights that are open on the top I can see better through them and they let in more light. All the AKs I have had or shot I would usually get 6"-8" groups at 100yds and after 100yds the groups became very sloppy and large, the AK is not really known for range.
Most of the Dragunovs come with detachable scopes and can reach out with some decent range and accuracy.
