I would buy a designated rifled tube if you were planning on being accurate with it. That being said all tubes should technically shoot a slug because they have to be able to so they comply with laws, someone cant grap a full choke and put it on a 12 ga and shoot a 12 ga slug and kill them or it would be the manufactures problem. That all said I would go with something right in line like improved or even modified at tightest but it shouldnt hurt the gun if you would run one through a tight choke but just dont try it
