I have an old Ted Williams Model 200 12 gauge shotgun with the "PolyChoke". I realize that the gun has no real monetary value but it was the first gun that my father bought for me 30 years ago and has great sentimental value. To make a long story short something happened recently that swelled the barrel tremendously right under the polychoke. I am not sure which of my boys may have slipped a hot shell in it. This is still being investigated. I need a new barrel and was wondering what are my options. I know that the Winchester Model 1200 barrels are interchangeable. Is the model 120 and 1300 also interchangeable? I would like to have a barrel that no longer incorporates the polychoke system. I think that I would like to have a vent rib barrel with removable or a fixed modified choke. Any help would be appreciated.
