. . . in the UPS from Gall's. Man, what a well-put-together piece of machinery! I managed a gun store when the ASPs came out, so I'm pretty familiar with their level of quality. ASP is nice, but Monadnock is Monadnock! Even so, I was surprised by the quality of construction on the Autolock. This thing is better made than a lot of firearms I've seen (sadly). The ball bearing locks between the segments will support my 200 lbs, so jabbing is an option that is lacking with other collapsible batons.

I picked the Autolock up to deal with dogs on the mountain trails by my house. Won't blow back in the never-convenient winds like pepper foam does, inconspicuous until something's actually assaulting you, it'll jab (unlike most collapsible batons) and it's an intermediate step that's a whole lot more friendly than the sudden appearance of my Glock 33.

Anyway, just wanted to report on what a fine piece of work the gents in NH put together. If anyone has any questions, post or drop me an e-mail.

cheers,
erich
