I load 52.5 gr of IMR 4064 in my bolt action. I'd venture that to be down around 47,000 psi, around 48.0 or 49.0 gr. would work.

The key is the 47,000 psi, for best cycling. The pressure at the gas port is supposed to be around 2,000 psi...

While I have shot my max loads in my Garand, I have read that this is a long-term no-no, which makes sense. No point in slamming it around during cycling.

Some others may well have some 4895 loads, too...
