A few other differences.
- "Lower" bore axis
- True ambi mag release.
- Different textureing.
- More backstrap options.
- Changed the size of some controls.
- Front cocking serrations.

Here's a picture of my FNX-40 (top one) and FNP-9. Not the best picture but you can get an idea of the differences. I don't know if it because of the lower bore axis but my FNX-40 probably has the softest recoil of any .40S&W that I've shot. Both are great guns but I like the FNX features better. Oh yeah, you might notice that I take a dremel tool to the magazine base to make it little more concealable (at least in my mind).

Also, I am a 1911 guy and I tend to ride the safety when shooting. With the FNP I would occasionally decock the gun while shooting. Since this picture was taken I've cut the decocker lever off on the left side. I ride the safety on the FNX and have had no problems with it accidentally decocking the gun.
