morning 001: Ya the rim fire in Texas is no limit on cap. But the Rangers are really hung on the 5 round Cap. and that includes one in the chamber. I believe.I've hurd stories about a Ranger is the Mineral Wells area, that fine a hunter 250.00 for having 6 shots in his Weatherby, That is one in the chamber and 5 in the hole, so there pretty serious at least he was.
