Well, I went ahead and laid it away, can't wait to try it out. I couldn't resist, the trigger had no play and was smooth as butter, the action was unbelievably smooth. I looked at the marlins like the 1894ss, very sweet looking rig none of them seems as smooth as the winchester. I guess I'll have to buy some dyes and add this one to my reloading station

I seen a new winchester repro, it was very nice looking and was smooth, but the 1200 tag was too much, I got the miroku for 625, pretty happy with that. Thanks for all your input. I'll give a report once I actually take it home
