i like the TAP alot in .223/5.56...specifically the 75 gr,but depending on your twist rate you may need something smaller...Partisan for the range.

what caliber pistol?

i like the Federal HST(147gr,now available in +P) and Tactical Bonded(135gr +P) in 9mm,usually WWB(Winchester white box) for the range.
