Just posting my experience with the Taurus Model 82 revolvers that J&G has for sale. I ordered 5 of them, figuring I'd keep the best and sell the rest.
Taurus 82 model, 38Special caliber Revolver with 4 inch barrel, Used.
All of mine have wood grips and my FFL used the NFA standards to grade the condition. J&G says "overall good", but the condition varies wildly. Out of the five I got, two were fair condition, two were good condition, and one was very good. So while it is true that the overall quality is indeed "Good", your specimen could vary. Do not expect to get anything worth showing off.
Hope people find this helpful.
