You might try trimming a few cases shorter. This tends to help the longer bullet profiles feed in lever action rifles. The guy at the range that actualy shoots 170 grain Kieth style bullets loads them in a .38 Spcl case. They are also too long to chamber in a .38 Spcl gun. They drop in my .357 Mag and stick out of the cylinder of my .38 spcl.
