I can't drop a 130+ dollars into their till in the name of supporting them.
I would have given them the 20 bucks for the transfer, but they wanted $75.00

I was all ready to answer that earlier post about "not saving money ordering online" but you pretty well covered it!
And as somebody else said, it also comes down to availability. The VAST majority of the guns I buy I would never see in a local gun store. The always have lots of deer rifles and generic hunting shotguns but not much else. If I want to buy S&W revolvers from the 50's and 60's, I have to go online.
And I only pay $20 for transfer fees. And my local sales tax is 9.5%. If I order from Bud's or gunbroker, I avoid the sales tax. Which would be WAY more than my $20 transfer fee.
I have bought guns locally or the big Tulsa Gun Show but I bet my ratio is somewhere around 90% internet, 10% local. I can't imagine not buying guns from gunbroker just because I had one problem! I've had problems on Craigslist before but I still use them to sell my goats, chickens, ducks, and other livestock!
