I had the same requirements as you when I first started carrying IWB. I would not carry without a manual safety. I settled on the Ruger SR9c. I carried it everyday for over a year and was (am) very pleased with it. I've now put well over 1000 rounds through mine and it works perfect everytime you pull the trigger. They are very popular guns and there is many after market options available. Sights, lasers, holsters.

It took me around two years of carry before I could become comfortable with the thought of carrying a pistol without a manual safety. I now am carrying a Kahr CM9 with no manual safety and couldn't be happier. I think it's just a cycle or phase you must progress through. Anyway I still own my Ruger SR9c and wouldn't think of parting with it.
