I second the opinions on the Taurus 24/7 series and the MIL-PRO series. In my judgement, these are great guns at a great price. I've got a MIL-PRO 40 and I love it.

I'd put my MIL-PRO up against a glock, sig, hk, baretta, and anything else anyday of the week.
