That's another option and one that I've considered, but I don't think I'd want to drill holes in my wooden stocks. However, I've got a couple of synthetic stocks that might get that treatment.

I definitely wouldn't drilled holes in my Winchester Model 70 stock, it is too purdy! Now, my Remington 700 SPS-V?... I wouldn't have too many reasons to hesitate
