Ok, I own the m&p and xd and I am currently supervising my friends glock whil he....ummmm....deals with a few things....buy the m&p!!!!! To me it has the best feel. Now your thoughts may be different but here is my opinion on it. The m&p just seems to mold to my hand better the the xd or glock, it points more naturally. To me that is one of the more important parts of a gun ergonomics. If a gun naturally points where you want it to. So far, to me the 1911, m&p and cz/cz clone point the most naturally.
