I have had good luck with UMC, Blazer Brass, and Winchester ammo for targets. That being said I don't buy much ammo anymore. The only guns I shoot regularly that I don't reload for are my Mosin-Nagant and SKS as I can buy ammo for both guns for just about what I could load it for sometimes even less than I could load it for. If you are not reloading your own ammo and plan to shoot a lot you should very seriously consider buying a basic setup to get started. The initial cost is a bit high for quality equipment but it pays for itself in a short amount of time.
