A good friend of mine at work, just got a rifle free. I'll do my best to describe it here.

It is a Winchester .22 single shot. Apparently it is old and takes down. The thing looks a lot like my dad's Stephen's falling block .22.

It shoots .22 shorts and longs.

Octagon barrel, pretty old and rusty but shoots well. If I had to guess it's manufacture is early 1900's.

No serial numbers or other markings.

What could it be?
