The only revolver I have had a serious ongoing problem with is a Ruger redhawk, made in 2005, It has a 10lb single action trigger pull. I put wolf reduced springs in it, 13lb 15lb 17lb, even with the 17 it will fail to ignite primers in double action about 60% of the time. I sent it back to the factory with the original spring reinstalled, and complained about the 10 lb SA trigger pull, and the 20lb DA and ruger said its in spec. Mine will never wear out because I never shoot it. All 25 of my S&W revolvers (1946 to 2007 manufacture), and my 2 taurus have been 100%. My Ruger single actions are 100% and I love them, but I would never recommend a DA ruger to anyone.
