I use a .45 ACP bronze brush on a short section of rod chucked in a variable speed drill. A little Filtz on the brush cleans the chamber really well. Go slow and stop insertion when you feel resistance from the brush reaching the neck taper area.
Same deal with a Mosin except I use a 20 gauge shotgun brush.
