I find that most rifles will shoot a small group for 5 shots.
Wait for the barrel to cool again, fire another group, and it may be twice as big.
Clean the barrel from Copper fouling.
Get another small group.
Wait for it to cool down.
Shoot another group and it is big.

Switch to heat stress relieved, factory lapped barrels that cost $280 and I have to cut the threads and chambers.
Shoot a group... it is really small.
Shoot 5 groups and they start to get bigger.
Clean out the Copper fouling and the groups are really small again.

There are some factory barrels that do not look like a premium barrel inside, but they sort of shoot like it.

It reminds me of the joke where the punch line is, "What every you do, don't sell that cow."

"Ad hominem fallacy" is not the same as point by point criticism of books. If you bought the book, and believe it all, it may FEEL like an ad hominem attack, but you might strive to accept other points of view may exist.
Are we a nation of competing ideas, or a nation of forced conformity of thought?
