I almost always go for a black or blue steel firearm. I'm old school and think they look better. Also they are less noticable when you need it - and less expensive as well. Granted, they do require more maintenance but I've always enjoyed cleaning my black beauties. Many of them are at least 35 years old and still look pretty good.
