Until recently you couldn't own SBR's and SBS's, but now you can. The one thing to know about NFA in Alabama is that not all sheriffs will sign off on it, so it's best to know ahead of time and go with a trust to get around it from the get-go if you know they're not friendly. Guys over at ARfcom can probably tell you specific county info.
